Sunday, January 7th 2007:

The Masjid held an Eid Adha dinner at the Radisson hotel with about 250 people attended. The event was opened with the recitation of Quran by Mr. Ahmed Radwan followed by a speech from our President, Mr. Kashif and from our Imam, Mr. Ferhad Mujkic. Speakers from the Islamic Relief, as well as Mr. John Zogby and an Imam from New Jersey mosque that has a fulltime Islamic school, Mr. Abdul Hameed were invited to give their insights.

Sunday, February 18th 2007:

Students and teachers from Iqra' Sunday school along with some parents went on a field trip to the Pin-O-Rama Bowling Alley, located next to McDonald's on Genesee Street. The trip was organized by Sisiter Ferdous. Each student played two games. The trip lasted about two hours and all the participants enjoyed themselves. The sisters Halaqa (social committee) helped to cover the cost of this field trip.

September 13th 2007 - October 12th 2007:

Wednesday, September 12th 2007:

The first Taraweeh was held at the masjid. Insya'Allah a Hafiz of Quran will lead the solat throughout the month of Ramadan.

Saturday, September 29th 2007:

The annual Community Fund Raiser is scheduled on this day at 7:30pm after Iftar.

Sunday, October 21st 2007:

Eid ul-Fitri 2007 dinner is scheduled on this day at Radisson Hotel & tickets will be available from the 2nd week of Ramadan. Please contact the masjid or the committee for tickets or information.
